The 53rd Annual Porsche Parade Concours d'Elegance

Cole Scrogham wins at Porsche Club National Concours-4 time National Manhattan winner and restoration expert Cole Scrogham (along with help from the entire Scrogham family) won class, division and the prestigious Porsche Club of America overall Performance Group award with a lightweight 1968 911. The entry was the result of 9 years of restoration, fabrication and track modifications to transform the 911 from a used up street car into a modern version of the Porsche 911R. Many ideas and “tricks” seen on the car are also standard features on the Synergy Racing Competition Program cars, putting a modern twist on a 40 year old 911. The car featured many unique items that wowed the judges, weighing in at 1793# and scoring a total of 296.1 out of 300 possible points from the 6 man judging team. The car was also invited to participate in the Historic Display, where both Norbert Singer and Peter Porsche had their photographs taken with the car before it was sold to a Porsche enthusiast from MD.
